Why sports?
More than a game

- 01
Sports are fun!
…and that is — by far — the most important thing. They are kids, and playing with or making new friends while running around is fun.
- 02
Promoting an active lifestyle
Being on the move helps kids stay in shape and builds athleticism and endurance. An active lifestyle developed early is more likely to last.
- 03
Learning sportsmanship
Competition is part of the game, but more importantly kids learn sportsmanship and how to overcome adversity — on the field and in life.
- 04
Time-management skills
Joining a team means a time commitment, and that's where kids start setting priorities and disciplining themselves without even realizing it.
- 05
Teamwork
Team sports build lasting friendships, communication skills, a sense of community, and respect for teammates and coaches.
